Today I’m listing my top 10 free Flash tools and inspiration that will help you to create amazing Flash for yourself and your clients.

Flash has come a long way since the 90’s! Forget bad design and poor usability. These days Flash is making a huge come back on the web, and changes are that any site you’ve seen lately that made you go “wow” is using Flash. So today I’m listing 10 free Flash tools and sites that will help you to create amazing Flash for yourself and your clients. With more and more companies offering free Flash tools it’s time to take advantage of the dynamic interactive experience you can only create with Flash. To use most of these tools you don’t need to be a designer or developer and you don’t even need to know code. Some of the tools are new, offering Flash based websites and galleries with drag and drop. You get to choose from professionally designed templates or start from scratch and there is a huge range of neat apps like minipages, page flip books and albums that you can easily customize. Plus they’ve solved the challenges around SEO – Flash content made in Wix is search engine friendly. Forget coding and give Wix a spin.

All I can say is wow! A usable site designed in Flash full of user experience FUN! They didn’t go overboard. Their navigation is usability focused. And they have a result you simply can’t achieve in HTML/CSS. And there’s beautiful designs to be found inside, too. Inspiring Flash!

Fun fun fun. A neat little game-like site, this Flash-based website plays on a standard menu with a twist…don’t go by the screen shot. You have to play around with this site to get the most out of it. And while it’s not what say a bank is going to offer in a site, for people in gaming or fun-oriented industries this is another example of Flash used well. And it’s a great site to hit when you want to bring fun back into your designs.

Amazing use of 3D and embeddable video, this is certainly a pro-flash site. But that’s a reason to stay and learn. As you play around on the pages there are tons of ideas and inspiration to be had. Especially because at the heart of this is a simple clean usable site that because it’s made in Flash, has been transformed into an experience.
